Special
provisions
for the
Grenadines.
150. The Local Government systems and policies for the
Grenadines shall reflect the special circumstances of the Grenadines,
and shall take into account the uniqueness of each of the communities
in the Grenadines as well as the considerable contribution of the
Grenadines to the national economy of Saint Vincent and the
Grenadines. It will be appropriate for more autonomy to be
afforded local government bodies in the Grenadines than those on
the mainland.
