SVG Referendum Results

Anticipation about  the results of the SVG Referendum 2009

It seems like almost everyone to whom I have spoken and who have emailed me is predicting a negative outcome for the 2009 referendum/constitution/election results.  I literally had to shout over the  phone in order to calm down friend who was on her way to get panic attack, she feared that this constitution bill will not pass.  She eventually calmed down when I told her that the majority of people of St.Vincent and the Grenadines are God fearing and whatever the results of the referendum it is the will of almighty God.

Only a few hours to go before the results of the SVG Constitution 2009 results are known.

    Darmmm
I am shocked and surprised about what took place.

I think Vincentians have lost an opportunity to make history. This is a wake up call to the ULP to shake up the party

I knew that 67% was a formidable target however the YES vote results are shocking.Upon reflection, it should not have been shocking. One cannot politicize the constitutional campaign and then expect voting impartially… Preceding conditions always dictate the end product, it the rule of nature.

You definately have to be shocked and surprise of what took place because we casted you yes people out of hell.
Please the Vincentian have lost no opportuntiy to make history but we have make a sound choice to Demacrocy

I honestly do not see this happening again in 5 years. In listening to the PM at the news conference, he says that he has put that on the back burner.

If this was a general election the NDP would of been in power with 13 seats to gonsalves 2. According to the present constitution Mr Gonsalves has until March 2011 before he can call elections. I would advise him to take all the time available, take a time out, regroup his party, get in touch with the grassroots people, and fire some of his lazy lazy lazy fellow parliamentarians..FIRE DEM.

Some of them know dem nar go run back fuh the next general election, so dem nah bin kay one fart wey happen in the referendum….

Opps sorry for my bad english..but ah pissed… ah f@##$$ vex.

Also the NDP were allowed to carry on at free will with their lies and mistruths and prapoganda…..its the most crap and fart to the highest degree I have ever heard…and some persons believe them.

It is a missed opportunity by the people of SVG.

    May God bless us all.
